When I was young, nothing beat gazing up at all the hot pro models my local skate shop Aardvark's had on its walls. So many classic board graphics and experimental shapes that actually now define modern day. Since the prices of decks were so expensive, nobody could afford to collect them. However, the cool thing about those days were you could buy that same pro model in sticker form! Today, this does not happen for some strange reason.

So much fun looking under the glass at hundreds of skateboard stickers. I used to buy alot of them and stick 'em all over the place: my school, decks, my room, binders, bums foreheads (sorry), skatespots, on the cat, you know. Then in '88 '89 '90 I got serious about collecting. Starting storing them away in the shoeboxes at first, then over to delicate photo albums. Fast forward to current day, some of these same skate stickers are on Ebay. Instead of $1 or $1.25, they range from $10 - $80 depending on the auction, importance, condition and rarity. If you're smart and patient you can score deals though.

I have so many important and timeless skateboard stickers from the past and really enjoy flipping through them and recalling those days. I'm sure there are others out there that love to collect too, so I decided to scan them all and create RetroSkateStickers.com. Please have a look around and enjoy!
