If it happens to be a sunny day (winter or summer) and its blowing 30kph or more (check out the weather at bottom left of screen), then there is a chance that we'll be gone kiteboarding. Which i think is fair enough.....since that's why we started Escape in the first place, to get away and enjoy the beauty of these activities.

Ever wished you lived on the ocean and could go surfing after school or work left out?  For years I sure did, until I started longboarding.  Now, I might still yearn to surf among waves and water at times, but Saskatoon is ripe with a bunch of great street surfing potential!

Longboards are quite different for their cousins, the skateboard.  They are shaped differently, and are designed to perform in a variety of specialized ways.  Some to carve smoothly, others to commute on and some for riding fast down hills!  Many people take them to skateboard parks and work on tricks as well.

Longboarding is a great way to get to and from work or school, great for spending time with friends while you cruise the hills, or for losing yourself as you kick along the Meewasin path.
