Where Will Skateboarding Be in another 5 Years.All types of skateboarding will continue to flourish in 2013. Longboarding, true to form will be the gateway for millions of folks to experiment with skateboarding. Females will make up a larger part of skateboarding compared to now. I predict more folks using Longboards as transportation as gas is now $7 per gallon…if we’re lucky! If we’re not so lucky, it will be at $10! The slalom community will be somewhat larger, but still fairly tiny. The truth is that slalom is measurable, teachable and fun. But it needs that extra ingredient to make it explode.
