The LaGrange L1 is our Universal Motorized Skateboard Truck. Add it to ANY deck, wheels, etc to make the electric longboard YOU want.  An electric longboard, just the way you want it! Our LaGrange L1 is ready for production – on its own, as a kit, or part of a complete build. That means you can get a complete, ready-to-ride setup with your favorite manufacturer’s skateboard parts… OR use the existing components that you already own in combination with our LaGrange L1 Kit (which includes the LaGrange L1 truck, motor, battery, radio remote control, electronic speed controller, software and USB connector)… OR, for a true do-it-yourself experience, get just the LaGrange L1 (our Universal Motorized Skateboard Truck) and we can help you out with suggestions on how to build it from there.The LaGrange L1 Kit will include:

The LaGrange L1 Difference

Our motorized skate truck (patent pending) is an easy, bolt-on solution to convert any skateboard into an electric vehicle. Our proprietary wheel hub easily converts any standard skateboard wheel into the drive wheel for use with the LaGrange L1. New and experienced skaters alike love the feel of non-stop cruising and going fast, while electronic motor braking takes the pain out of stopping. Plus, when your finger is off the throttle, your board can coast and ride like a traditional longboard.Wait. There’s no battery on that board!

For our completes and the intended kit configuration, the battery is separate from the board (carried in a backpack), which preserves the traditional skateboard weight and handling, and also allows for easy carrying and swapping of multiple batteries for extended travel range. The battery pack plugs into the board (don’t worry, it’s equipped with an emergency quick-disconnect power cable), and you control the speed and braking via wireless remote. With your own kit, or just the LaGrange L1 truck, you can, of course, put the battery wherever you like; even attached to the board.
