Loaded Race Gloves v.2 Reviewed
| One Comment
In our last review Loaded proved to me that it is actually worth paying for the good stuff with their Freeride Gloves v.6. The second glove we have the honor of testing out is Loaded’s new Race Gloves v.2. These gloves are beautiful! Little leather suits just for you hands! The first thing I noticed about these gloves is the lack of the removable EVA foam wrist cushion that I liked so much in the Freeride gloves. My only other complaint is I don’t really like wrist strap as compared to Freeride gloves.

These gloves do have a few features not included in the Freeride version that are pretty sweet. The most noticeable of these features is the full carbon knuckles and rubber finger
protectors, this feature is great for saving your fingers and knuckles when you crash or if you just need to take out and unruly spectator. Another great feature of these gloves is the crazy amounts of perforation, even though these gloves are reinforced and made to last they also breathe really well and keep your hands from getting too sweaty. yet anther great feature is the reflective material on the top of these gloves, it really pics up light and really helps get you noticed. As with the freeride gloves the Race v.2 come with some pretty sweet pucks that are super easy to adjust, the palm puck is super slick and has very little resistance when sliding.
Here’s Loaded’s List of Features for these gloves.
- High quality perforated leather for durability, breath ability and comfort.
- Carbon Knuckle and rubber finger protectors for when you rag doll.
- Leather reinforcement strips for increased durability.
- Reflective sections.
- Velcro palms, finger tips and thumbs for optimized puck placement.
- Ergonomic fingers shaped for dexterity
- Ultra high Molecular weight circular palm and thumb pucks
- High density finger pucks
- Lined with coolmax fabric which moves moisture away from your body to keep you cool.
In conclusion I would totally recommend these gloves to anyone getting ready for a race, whether its an IGSA event of just trying to beat your best time on your favorite speed run, Loaded gloves rule.
