It cleans your bearing set (Shield, Inner Race, Bearings, Retainer, and Outer Race) with it’s tough degreasing formula.
Using Skanunu Really Wet and Slippery Bearing Cleaner & Lube has its benefits
It coats the metal components with a protective shield to polish and repel water & dirt
It leaves behind a long-lasting non-drying lubricant that keeps you riding fast
There are two ways to clean your bearing sets with Skanunu Really Wet and Slippery Bearing Cleaner & Lube: Skanunu Website
1) ON-THE FLY:
Apply Skanunu Really Wet and Slippery
Bearing Cleaner & Lube directly to the inner
and outer bearing sets of all four wheels.
Spin wheel for maximum penetration
then wipe up excess with paper
towel or cloth. Reapply as necessary.
2) DEEP CLEAN:
Remove all your bearing sets from the wheels.
Place them in Skanunu Really Wet and Slippery Bearing Cleaner & Lube and let them soak for a minutes allowing it to get into the set. (You can take the shields off and pull out the retainer then clean inside the inner race and bearings if you know how to do this.*)
Wipe each set with a paper towel or rag and place them back into wheels. Your are ready to ride. (If you dissassembled the set, wipe out all the compenents with a cotton swab taking care NOT to lose any bearings then reassemble the set*)
Skanunu Really Wet and Slippery Bearing Cleaner & Lube will intensionally feel wet even after you wipe it off. This is because the protectant and lube are left behind on your bearings.
*DISCLAIMER: This is the best way to clean your bearings, but DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS if you haven’t taken apart a bearing set or feel comfortable doing so. We’re sorry but we can’t be held responsible if you ruin your bearings trying to take them apart.
